thanks guys, I spent some time going through Ryans list at japanese pots. I will send him am email in regards to the Japanese pot.
As for the other one and the other RYAN ( re crevis)

you will be happy to know that when I read your post in regards to the pot you picked up last week, your comment about it being made for the waverley show some 20 years ago got me thinking.
Then it hit me , when I bought a plant from a member of the club some years back he introduced me to an old friend of his who use to make bonsai pots.
I bought one of his plants and he told me that it was in one of his pots. So I looked under the pot and there it was
Well that was fine , but I came no closer to what his name was.
another stroke of genious came to mind
Prior to Alans passing he bought me over some things along with a book of pot styles.
YES YES I know I'm dragging it out ..
The owner had written his name on the book. So I know who he is now

is am I going to tell you
stay tuned for next exciting episode of" Who made the pot"
Oh alright, it was MAX BAXTER.
