I am sure if I spend some time looking I would find them, but someone is bound to know faster than I can.
so please let me know if you can :worship:

Also just to let those people who buy mame & shohin pots from me that after a few months break and 3 injections in my eye that I am finally starting to make pots again.

:D

Hi Joann,

Good news to here you're back stoking the kiln :tu:

We'd love to see what the pots look like?

Looks like the same potter who made this viewtopic.php?f=29&t=18596&p=188965#p188965 :tu:

So if anyone knows more, you'll have two happy customers!

I would try here http://japanesebonsaipots.net/
It is the most comprehensive list of potters marks anywhere on the web, if you don't find your marks send Michael Ryan Bell an email he should be able to help narrow it down.

thanks guys, I spent some time going through Ryans list at japanese pots. I will send him am email in regards to the Japanese pot. :reading:

As for the other one and the other RYAN ( re crevis) you will be happy to know that when I read your post in regards to the pot you picked up last week, your comment about it being made for the waverley show some 20 years ago got me thinking.
Then it hit me , when I bought a plant from a member of the club some years back he introduced me to an old friend of his who use to make bonsai pots.
I bought one of his plants and he told me that it was in one of his pots. So I looked under the pot and there it was :tu:
Well that was fine , but I came no closer to what his name was.
another stroke of genious came to mind
Prior to Alans passing he bought me over some things along with a book of pot styles.
YES YES I know I'm dragging it out ..
The owner had written his name on the book. So I know who he is now :D
:?: is am I going to tell you
stay tuned for next exciting episode of" Who made the pot" :palm: :palm:

Oh alright, it was MAX BAXTER.
