Shipping oversea

Post by Carpul »

Hi

I was wondering if someone had experience in shipping bonsai oversea.
I am worried if I will be able to bring my tree back with me to Europe.

Thanks

I have had a quick look at shipping to USA. Their AG department wanted all sorts of registrations and paperwork so I did not bother.
Getting trees into Europe is far easier than into Australia. They import quite a few Japanese trees. You could make enquiry with the relavent Dept of Agriculture or Environment and see what the think they want. Another avenue might be to contact a bonsai nursery or even a large general nursery and see if they can offer advice or help.

Good luck :fc:
