From what I've read, you can take cuttings yourself rather easily, for both species.
I'm out there trying it right now myself, not so much the ficus but the Casuaruinas. Apparently the Casuarinas can be grown (read Steves posts) from the green stringy leaves in sand ... I actually managed to do that, and then, like a fool, I pulled it out to see if it had roots
ought to smack myself up the side of the face!
