Hi to all bonsai and suiseki enthusiasts,
Illawarra Bonsai Society is having their annual show on at the Tradies Club in the Eloura Room, Cnr Kingsway and Manchester Road, Gymea on the 2nd and 3rd May, 2015, from 10am to 4.30pm on both days.
There will be a magnificent display of Australian Native trees, exotic bonsai trees, a suiseki display, and a Tropical Fig Tree Fantasy Forest. Entry is $5 for adults, $3 for concession and children admitted free. Included in your entry ticket will be a free raffle ticket for your chance to win an established bonsai.
There will also be demonstrations on both days.
We will also have a bonsai clinic, so if you are having some trouble with your tree/s bring them along for a free evaluation.
There will be bonsai tree stock from Bonsai South Nursery, handmade pots by Janet Selby and Autralian Native tree stock from Sydney Wildflower Nursery.
As the show is on the weekend before Mother's Day, there is an opportunity for children to make a bonsai for their mums for Mother's Day. All materials are supplied for $10.
Come and join in on the fun.
We hope that we will see you there.
Brenda Parker (President of Illawarra Bonsai Society and President of Suiseki Australia).

Thanks for the photos. This is the first time in years I have missed this exhibition so if anyone has a few more photos that would be appreciated.
