New pot purchase and its new resident.
I purchased a pot from wrcmad with this tree in mind. It was a perfect fit and they should enjoy a happy life together. It is an Ash in its first stage of development and i think they compliment each other quite well.

Wonderful pot!
I am guessing the tree is an ash?
The tree is early in its development, what is your intention for future direction? With the tree planted slightly to the right, I assume the future apex will move to the left over the centre of the pot and the branches on the right will be shortened after they thicken a little.......or perhaps..... tree roots on the left forced the position of the trunk a bit to the right?
or a different plan?

Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.

Yes an Ash as said, i had to be very brutal to fit it into the pot as it had been happily growing in the tub. I did not want to be too brutal (although it is an Ash)
I will let it grow for a while before cutting the branches but i will shorten them once they thicken up. I have no idea where the apex will be and i think the tree will change a lot with ramification. It is a downsize for me as i want to move my large Ash on. Any idea what sort of Ash?

Yeah, i know this Dude who was silly to sell it. Thanks for the prompt delivery and nice save with the edit. It is a starter tree but they can help each other develop.wrcmad wrote:Nice pot!

Hahaha good on ya! I was actually eye-balling that one. But the 'Trouble-and-Strife' cancelled the expenditure request... Should have let her have that last thing she wanted...wrcmad wrote:Nice pot!
