Wow, what a busy, but fantastic weekend!

A massive thanks to all club members who helped out and made our show possible. :hooray:

Gratitude also to Waverley Garden Club for sponsoring the judged best in show prize, and to Japan Club Victoria for their sponsorship of the popular choice Japan Festival Award :hooray: :tu:

Thanks to our club sponsors and partners: Dynamite Printing, Seasol, Bonsai Pots by Joann, Bruce Argaet bonsai stands. ;) :worship:

And most of all thanks to all of you who came down, had a look around, admired some very nice bonsai, watched a demo or grabbed a bargain in the trading room :tu:

Couple of pics I managed to snap in between other commitments... But if anyone else want to add, feel free (there was sooooo much more)

Those slab bases look pretty good.. Do you know what material they are...Are they man made or natural slabs?

Yep there was a couple of stonkers in amongst some very nice trees. As for the photography, thanks but just iPhone photos, so you can thank Apple for building amazing technology so small into a simple phone ;)

Secret

Nah seriously, they're made from polystyrene base that's been melted down with thinners to shape it, then painted, and planted up. They each about a metre long so definitely makes them easier to move ;)

Was a great weekend. Great display of trees and the sales area was great, some fantastic bargains on offer. We had a good number through the door too. Well done by all involved.
