Port Douglas - Any Bonsai?

Post by Matt S »

Next week I'm lucky enough to be taking the family to Port Douglas for a holiday. Does anyone know of any bonsai stuff up that way? I can't find anything online.

If not I'll just have to put up with the perfect weather and beach!

Matt, gumtree reveals a few "nurseries" in Mareeba, having been to both I will not re-visit, if that's an indication.
I would however try contacting the Cairns Bonsai Society through there Facebook page, I am sure they will have some knowledge of something, maybe a local member can show you something.
But good luck and enjoy Port Douglass, you have picked a perfect time to visit.

Thanks Watty, that's good advice. I'll let you know if I find anything.
