Quince thief

Post by Daluke »

I had a quince planted in my front yard. It was about 10cm tall.

It's now gone.

Has anyone lost one of these to a bird?

Have not personally lost any (yet) but a stick that size might be attractive to a desperate nesting magpie or other large birds. You may need to cover them until nesting season is over. Plenty of sticks available around here without them needing to resort to my bonsai plantings :fc: .
