collection pics
Hey all,
I was out in the garden today and started taking some photo's, and I thought it might be nice to start a thread where everyone can post pics of their trees out on the benches and not set up for individual shots (i guess candid pics, if one can take a candid bonsai photo)
I have a few pics I will put up, and I invite anybody else who wishes to do the same, it would be nice to see everyones trees as they sit in our displays Hope you all enjoy

Enjoyed very much thanks Kerrin.
Your photography is as always great too.
May I kindly enquire as to what camera / lens combo you use?

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Always some smart so and so to ruin a good thread! Hey John, he posted pics of his trees, not his front yard and address...John Henry wrote:What a great way to advertise your trees to get stolen![]()

Love the look of "the beast" after your work in the top left of the first pic you posted... the dead wood/shari particularly is awesome!
Also love the idea for a thread, hopefully others with worthy benches are not put off.

Re: collection pics
Thanks so much for the kind words folks, and thanks Ken for posting some of yours, your garden looks great!
Boics,
I use a cannon 600d and most of the time I use a 55-250mm lens and I just play with the settings in manual, these were all taken with a shutter speed around 200, f. of about 5 and iso at 100
Here's a few more I took this morning of the smaller trees Looking forward to seeing what others post up

Beautiful collection by the way Its a treat to see your conifers and the massive leaps they make in progress everytime you update your threads.
