Does anyone know of a good place to buy Azaleas in Sydney besides the usual Bonsai Nurseries?
Is there a place that specialises in them etc?
Thanks in advance!
Reece.

Re: Azaleas in Sydney
I've spoken to Ashley from Bonsai World a couple of times about good Azaleas. He mentioned Burbank Nerseries in Kangy Angy has some excellent Azalea stock but they aren't available to the general public (wholesale only).
I believe on the sign above the building has an emblem that says "Home Of The Azalea". I got super excited after talking with Ashley so I stopped in (a few months ago) and found only 3 very sad specimens. I will have to stop in again some time though.
(This photo is quite wide, I wouldn't bother opening it on your mobile)

Next time I'm up there I will have a look around and also ask about those wisterias.treeman wrote:You might check the nurseries in and around the Blue Mountains.

I don't trust Bonsai, they are a little shady.

Re: Azaleas in Sydney
There is 3Bears nursery at West Pennant Hills, they do have a website.
They specialise in azaleas and camellias.
Open 6 days a week, closed on Tuesday and are having a closing sale.
Not sure the amount or quality of the stock that is left.
