Thanks Kirky, this is always a 'fun' meeting because there is so much variety. We have advanced growers and raw beginners who all contribute to the discussions. Old trees which have been inherited and need to be brought back into style and the simple 'stick in a pot' which needs to be given some direction.

Its always helpful to get that second and third opinion. Especially when you first begin bonsai, you just don't see the possibilities of the material/tree. Also when you first begin your in a rush to put everything in bonsai pots to have something for the display table. When is the first meeting next year a BSV?

Sat January 9 at noon for the styling review / workshop or Mon January 25 there will be a presentation on eucalypts at 7.30pm

You will be more than welcome to come and have a look on the Saturday say hello. It is not expected that you pay membership before you see what is on offer.

Thanks Gerard, I did go one night a couple of years ago. I was going to join then but life threw me a curve ball, just getting back into it now. Want to do the right thing by the club, will join first.
