Was just having a beer on the verandah listening to the thunder and thought I'd take a photo to show you all. This is most, (not all) of my trees, stumps, starters, projects etc. only have the iPhone camera at the moment but when I get a decent camera and make a backdrop (I know there's a name for it I'm sure someone will chime in), plan to make a more detailed progression on individual trees and give a background behind them. And yes, the lawn needs a mow but the grass grows real quick here. I'm about 200 metres from Moreton bay in brigton, Brisbane.View from the verandah

Re: View from the verandah
After looking at the uploaded picture just saw it's not the best quality. just a teaser i guess. For refernece, the pj fig in the middle that was defoliated a couple of weeks ago and wired is a little under a metre high from the top of the pot. Will get some good photos individually in the nearish future.

Nice collection. Nice to see everything green and lush. Do you have to move these every time you cut the grass?
Cheers

Cheers kirky. I don't move them when it's mowing time, would be way too much of a mission. The setup isn't ideal but will eventually make some nice benches. Trying to save for a house at the moment and once that's achieved much time and effort will be put into making everything look superb.

Is that a bougi third from the right in the front row?... Hard to say but I'm giving that my fav vote.

yep, it's a bougy ryceman. it really is hard to tell what anything is in that photo sorry. Looked much clearer on my phone when you zoomed in, but after resizing, it really is pretty dismal. everything's pretty wild at the moment. there's another massive bougy third from the right in the second row that is really starting to become a beauty 2 years from being chainsawed and dug up as a completely bare stump. In time you'll see them all properly.

This is the giant bougy about 6 months ago. Won't continue this thread anymore till I get photos that actually do justice. To be continued.
