Hi, anyone able to tell me what this is? It's deciduous, possibly fruiting. Thought maybe a crab apple but the leaves look different to another I know is definitely one. Help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Not sure of the species...? But definitely looks like your tree is suffering from iron deficiency....Leaves with dark veins and yellowing leaves/fading natural leaf colour. Need to pick up some "Iron Chelate" to rectify the problem...

Re: [ID] deciduous
It's not my tree. Growing next to a friends house in the mountains. Tree was starting to lose leaves I think due to being deciduous.
Council tree loppers came along a chopped it down saying to was a willow and they were told to remove it due to being a weed. But it's not a willow. They got the wrong tree. The owner (doesn't live on site) is pretty angry. The willow that was meant to be removed was even tagged! But an ID would help as she complains to council. Thought if anyone can id trees it's this community.

Hi Dusty Rusty,
Leaf looks like one from the Rosaceae family that includes peach, plums, cherries, apricots etc. We would need a bit more info, if possible?
Good luck in your search.
Regards,
Black Knight
