Given the relative success of my Peppercorn Tree Auction, I thought I'd give it another go with this fat little Fig...
HISTORY: This Fig (species unknown, but it has been suggested by some that it could be Green Island Ficus) has been in my care for most of my Bonsai life (10+ years). It started as a single bulbous trunk, and over a few years I struck many cuttings which I have attached to the main trunk, in an attempt to simulate an old Banyan style tree. The 'fusing' process is not complete yet, but I expect that a year or so of strong growth in the right conditions would rectify this. I cannot provide the 'right conditions', and in its current situation, the tree gets frosted in Winter and baked in full sun in Summer.

DIMENSIONS: The tree stands at 350mm at the apex, and is 500mm wide (leaf to leaf). The widest point on the trunk is 150mm where it meets the soil, and at its narrowest is 100mm.
