Serissa Foetida before and after a trim and repot

Post by srini »

got this little serissa from bonsai northside around 3 years ago for $16. Repotted into the plastic pot in the first photo the day I brought it home and decided to give it a good trim and root prune and nice pot ready for the spring flowers. it has been mostly clip and grow with a guy wire here and there cause wiring young serissa branches isn't fun. pretty stoked with how its looking in the new pot, perhaps wouldve gone with a coloured glaze if I had something suitable at home but out of my stash this was the most suitable. Will post updates to this thread every now and then. I'd say in about 6 weeks it will be covered in flowers and looking really nice.

nebari is 10cm, 30cm from top of pot and 27cm across the foliage to give a bit of a better picture, it was a little deceptive after looking at the uploaded picture.
