Anyone got any ideas? The roots were quite soft. 2 different trees here...

If it is a correa I'm pleased as I have one although much much smaller than this one.
I'd defoliate it asap to rid the grubby leaves..The are indestructible.
Saying that they seed well and root cuttings fire up quickly...I have a pair of monsters as the front hedge and prune them with the chainsaw attachment on my brush cutter.

I think your right about the correa. There are a lot of thesse with flowers on them near by...now to ID the b other one!

My first impression is Myoporum. The wide leaves look like the Myoporum montanum I use as a rootstock for grafting eremophilla sp
I think Sno is correct with the Correa ID but there are so many cultivars now. Flowers will be the deciding factor.
