Tree Identification

Post by MountainFrost »

I bought this tree about 2 months ago during winter. At the time it had no leaves so I just assumed it was deciduous. The guy who ran the nursery I bought it from had no idea what it was. I recently preformed a trunk chop on the tree while it still had no leaves. It has just now grown this branch and I have no idea what species it is. I tried /r/Bonsai on reddit and they recommend that I come here.
Thanks!

Too early to tell what that is. Wait until the leaves are properly open then post some more photos for us to check.
It is best to upload photos to Ausbonsai - there are plenty of us who won't go to another site to check photos. Have you had a look at those photos? It would help a lot if they were in focus.

If you want us to help please try to make it a little easier.
