Its a Cedar. Probably Himalayan Cedar. Full sun feed every two weeks in growing season. Trim tips. It will need wire constantly. As you unwire them they have a tendency to to spring back, so you will have to rewire. Always watch for wire cutting in. Repot every two year. They are beautiful trees one of my favorites.

I agree with Kirky it is a Cedar Deodar and has a drooping habit so very suitable for a cascade style. They resent frequent repotting so you should not disturb this too often 2-3 years in a pot is good. A couple of my Cedars have dropped their needles and it seems like it could be a fungal infection so be careful about keeping the air circulating around it.
Thanks Kirky
some of the cedar bonsai ive seen online are amazing so heres hoping i can achieve something good with this one
Think i might put this in a grow box? whens the right and wrong time to repot these guys ?

Repot next month. Grow box is fine. Remember to wire and then rewire that is the only way to work these trees. They really do take years to set but they are worth it. Just watch the wire cutting in.

couldnt help myself, i slip potted this today into a large foam grow box and raked out the top layer of roots just to get them to fan out a little leaving the rest of the rootball untouched. Hoping to see some decent growth in the next few years !
