Cool!
Looks there will be a lot of fruit too Treeman!
.....I find they don't eat my berries until pretty late in the piece anyway?
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Hi mike
That is a beautiful little tree , is it the micro leaf one? It must be quite old , they are such slow growers
Cheers Peterb

Thanks Peter. I think it's thymifolia. Cotoneaster are pretty hard to distinguish. There is one with a smaller leaf -microphylla - but slow is right! There's also a problem with their twigs becoming overly thick too. They all seem to do that. I think once I can get to the stage of pruning out congested areas so you can see some branching detail it will look much better.

It is great to get a little time to appreciate the fruits of your labours.
I decided to make sure the fruit lasts a bit longer this year so I put in a bird cage
P1160743.JPG
or should that be an anti bird cage :?:

Still plenty of berries for display this Saturday at Wodonga Show.
