The OH!! bugger saga part 4

Post by Pup »

This is part four of that OH!! bugger moment earlier in the year. Well the good news is it is budding like crazy.
So I should be able to get a decent tree in a couple of years.
For those of you that do not know the story. Just scroll in this the Feedback and Reviews the start is here as well as part 2-3 and here we are today.

Yeah I am pleased all is not lost, about the length of time I can set out. Any thing over a Chinese elm a M, rhaphiophylla. I might be pushing the proverbial,
Up hill in a wheel barrow. :P
Although I have a few Shohin in training now looking for more them I can handle. ;)

Here is an update on my little Chinese elm disaster. The shoots have elongated enough to be sorted out. Plus there is one down lower,by the hole.
Which will be left and encouraged to grow thicker and longer.
This is going to be a challenge as Chinese elms are apical dominant.
What is Bonsai without a challenge.

pup :D

i have kept coming back to this one a few times this after noon to see if anything changes in my eyes... :? it hasnt, that new shoot coming from the uro where a previous branch is keeps distracting my eye, it flows then boom, stops dead there where that branch comes out the bottom, i am finding it hard to see this develop it anything from there, could you please enlighten me on how you plan on getting this to work?

dont get me wrong i am not second guessing your skills, just merely wanting to understand the thought process and vission :D

cheers mate.

beautiful pu, i knew you would have some form of vision, i can see now that it wont be as distracting if at all once the branch develops and ramification is built.

i take it that it will be a reasonably heavy branch to go with the size of the trunk to allow for looks of scale?

and now your figuring out how to draw on the computer you will be entering the virt comps soon ??? :D
