I have been letting this dwarf variety virgata run a bit wild this year, and have been thrilled with the display of flowers it has treated me to. I hope you enjoy....

Hi Redsonic,
Love those flowers mate. I used to do a lot of Macro photography of wild flowers. When you see the detail up close they are amazing.
Regards Ray

Gorgeous! It'd be a huge shame to prune it before flowering, that's for sure!

Cool!
I've been fascinated by my virgata that has hundreds of flower buds on it.
What has amazed me though is only one single tiny flower has been the only one to open for days!

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

I have been watching mine for at least a month, and only now decided it was time to take the photos. There are still plenty of unopened buds, so I may be in for an even bigger display in another few weeks....Boics wrote:Cool!
