Rosemary
Thought I would post a photo of my little Rosemary bonsai. Had this for a while now, it is currently in a Penny Davis pot that I chose to match the flower and bark colour.

Re: Rosemary
Hi Watto, this looks very sweet... I really like this (and the other Rosemary you have posted in the past). Saw this image while looking for something completely unrelated on the net - thought you might want to check it out...

Re: Rosemary
Thanks for the photo, but it looks a little sparse in the foliage I think?

Re: Rosemary
I kinda liked the dead wood more than the foliage so I would agree with you, thought it was worth a look for that...Watto wrote:Thanks for the photo, but it looks a little sparse in the foliage I think?

Re: Rosemary
The bark on these is quite think, so when a branch dies there is only a slim branch left. I think that soon all those thin jins will go, but enjoy them while you can.

Re: Rosemary
How do they go with bending?
I have one in a pot I dug up from my front garden bed a few years ago, but they seem fairly snappy.
Also what about back budding?
I've really only ever cut small bits off to go with my roast lamb dinners.
Thanks in advance.

So the Redwood turns to the Bonsai and says "Lend me a Tenner"......

Re: Rosemary
They are unreliable in back budding and if you want to bend them you need to do it early in their life.
