I'm thinking to grow this into a broom style?!? What you guys think? Should I remove all lower branches?
Thanks!

Hahaha pretty crap I guess ! Thank you [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]!treeman wrote:Interesting wiring technique... Just clip and grow this one. You don't ever have to touch it with wire. Broom would be fine.

Yes it is serissa this one https://www.bonsaiempire.com/tree-species/serissa[ Kane ] wrote:Off topic a little, is this a Serissa variant?
I would leave them for now. The main problem as I see it is that it's headed in two directions. I would be inclined to pick the right as it's more interesting and remove or severely reduce the left.pureheart wrote:Treeman do you think I should remove the lower branches?treeman wrote:Interesting wiring technique... How good is the Aussie community compared to that in the US..... Kudos to you Rudi.JR_J wrote:Hi pureheart,
I agree with the treeman to work on the right - as the left side is very straight. However, having said that I'd like to invite you to come to our next workshop - since you're in Melbourne, bring your tree along and we'll take it from thereIt's different to look at the tree in the flesh rather than at a picture, we do have quite a few different Serissa varieties in our collection and I'm sure we'll find a solution
