To make something like this?Nate.bonsai wrote:We will have this sort of material in Australia as soon as someone spends 20-30 years growing them for us and we somehow manage to pay them in the meantime. Also, we have such a smaller pool of serious bonsai buyers here than many larger countries or ones with a much more developed bonsai culture.
That said, sexy trees.

It's not complaining, admiring in a positive wayKIRKY wrote:Bonbon, dreaming about whats overseas is pointless. If you want this type of stock you will have to plant it. Your looking at 10-15-20 years in the ground. Or you can get an import licence and follow all the rules and regulations required to bring in this type of material. Not to mention $$$$$$$$$$$$ it will take to do so. Even then there is no gaurantee that the trees will survive the quaratine process.
There isn't one person on this site who wouldn't want the material available overseas. Our quarantine laws wont change. Complaining about them wont change them either. Its all a waste of timeget a shovel and start planting.

Please do show your trees. We all need inspirations, here or overseaskcpoole wrote:I have a few![]()
Might get some new photos tomorrow and show them off
They are excellent trees and can be easily found in gardens being renovated. Mostly upright ones though as not many people will have had them bent to different shapes.
