I've been stocking up on pots from Erin and the European Collective too, but figured I should get some locally as well. I've already used up most of the ones from OS....and still have a lot of repotting to do, so yes, it is nice to have some choices.
So true, KCAR! I now know what an actual Ficus rubiginosa looks like! To be honest I haven't really concerned myself too much with the variety, they all grow well here. I also have some seed grown figs, about the same age as this one, but they're no where near the size or quality, so I'm going to have to talk to the guy who grew the biggun to get some hints.
He's marked the pot as grown from seed 2010, but there's a label in the pot that says 16, so I think he may mean 2001...no matter...
Edit: if it's only 7 years old then I definitely need to pick his brains!!!!
