This is my second time building an artificial rock landscape out of foam and tile adhesive.

Any and all suggestions/critiques welcome.
I plan to make the rock a darker shade with deep red highlights.
I will more than likely plant shimpaku on this.

This will definitely be a two person lift.
I am still undecided on what i will do for the base. I may place it in a large pot or make a base out of foam.

Crumbs... is this Hogwarts Castle after it has been torched by Voldemort!
I look forward to seeing it with craggy trees clinging to its edges... could be interesting. For the second time this morning, I am both challenged and excited a thread on a bonsai forum. What is happening too me!!!
Anyway ... Beanwagon, thanks for posting and I look forward to your creation when it is fully dressed in Shimpaku. Re: a base - perhaps attached to an irregular shaped piece of bluestone on which you create a low rocky/mossy edge ...

Great work Beanwagon, I can see it dripping with ferns and moss with Shimpaku clinging for life from above. Like MJL says- perhaps consider situating it on a slab of rock...something like this maybe?

Cheers guys! I was playing with a similar idea for the base except i was going to make te "rock" base out of foam as an actual rock that size would be heavy, hard to find and costly?
