Hi guys, I would like your opinion on which side of the trunk should be the front on this Serissa Serissoides pls.

I much prefer the first pic as the front. The roots are balanced in that view.

I agree with Tim. The second photo looks as tho the 'bum' is curling protectively into the soil... not a good feeling. #1 has an array of roots, nice texture to the trunk and interesting movement. I don't see there is a choice.

First picture shows the roots best. Remember to spread and uncross as many as you can when you repot.

First pic. But if you trim a couple of exposed roots in the second to show a good spread from the nerbari then the second one could be better.

Hi Platinum, it is approx 9 years old and I have it on a steady diet of Rocket Fuel, Nitrous Oxide and Steroids. There is another one of mine that is in the post called : "Swamp Cypress and Serissa".

its just that i can see bunjin in this tree, and the trunk would be quite powerful in comparison to most other serissa i see...

If you mean bud hard with flowers? Well I don't want them to flower. Not yet anyway, as it takes energy away from the leaves. That's why I keep the Potassium Low. If you mean leaf buds.....Yes! Absolutely.
