Luckily only a couple of my little trees were damaged, the rest were under shelter or on the sheltered side of the house. Not so lucky was a Eucalypt out near the road. It was snapped in half. The hail also shredded a lot of leaves on various trees virtually stripped some of them bare, there is only one mango left amongst the shredded leaves on my tree. 
Insurance claim also coming up for the car which is now very cute with it's dimples. The fish in the little water feature survived even though the pond had a layer of hailstones floating on top. Hope we don't cop another direct hit like this again too soon.Cheers, Frank.
- so perhaps I dreamt it. Regardless ... I hope anyone who encountered the storms in QLD and others in NSW recently are OK!
