At the end of a funny run of interrelated happenings, I walked past a dusty secondhand shop window and saw these stands lurking under their grey coats. And I saw the price. I went in, had a look and said I would take them. The chappie wiped the dust off of the two and handed them to me and then I pointed out the third sitting under something still in the window. There appeared to be a bit of reluctance but he slipped it into its slot and handed me the full nest with good grace. These are very nicely made and not from the current run of mass produced crap.
Their size makes them better for accent plants as my two minis are too big but I think they are lovely.
I should give Bryn a special treat... this is the third special find in the last fortnight because I was undertaking my owner obligations and stretching the wee beastie's legs.

I've just been pawing over my treasure and the bottom of the 'carry' stand has grain medallions perfectly positioned on each side of the centre leg and each stand is smooth and polished on the underside as well. The stands have far more quality workmanship than one normally finds in today's market.

Re: NEST of STANDS
Thats a ripper set Mela. I love second hand stores and garage sales. Hmm haven't been for a while I think they have them Saturday here. Might be a mission for the morning.

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.
