We had some trees stolen last night up here at Port Macquarie from one of our members, so if you could keep an eye out would be much appreciated.
This is on The Hastings FB Page as well as the Australian Bonsai Gallery's web page that has a dedicated Stolen Bonsai Section where if this happens to you, you can load them up and it goes to all clubs that John is in contact with as well as Bonsai FB pages.
There were a number of others that the owner was doing with his daughter, so he is absolutely gutted

Hi Mike
All we can do is hope that they bust someone and they happen to have them still alive.

Re: Stolen Bonsai Port Macquarie
Hearing of stolen trees is awful. Think about what goes into their care; how would someone look at a tree if they knew it was stolen? I hope somehow the trees find their way back to their rightful home.

Not sure if I should post in this thread or start a new one..
I assume news of this nature travels fast in this community.. but nonetheless.. having not seen it appear on Ausbonsai today I thought I would post this link..

Re: Stolen Bonsai Port Macquarie
Knowing that all enthusiasts have more pictures of their trees than their families I'm sure proof of ownership will not be a problem.
