Lily of the Valley
Acquired this Pieris Japonica (Lily of the Valley) from my mum who was downsizing her pots. Did some initial restyling then a re-pot last year. It is looking very healthy and has jumped up early into flower so I thought I would show it to all for your viewing pleasure and comment.

Re: Lily of the Valley
Lovely! Great job.
I had two pink ones, a long time ago, and killed them both. Not sure what I did wrong, but I haven't dared to get Pieris Japonica since then. Maybe I could try this cultivar...

Re: Lily of the Valley
Thanks Lisa,
Advice given to me was to prune a bit at a time and if you re-pot don't remove too much soil or roots.
Seems to have worked in this case.
Cheers

Re: Lily of the Valley
I see. Softly softly catchee monkey. Thanks, Chris. I was told at the time to treat mine like Azaleas, to which the Pieris is related, but that didn't work. I'll try it your way, when I get one.
