So this is my second entry, I was at Belair State Flora (SA) and the old "5 for the price of 4" tubestock deal sucked me in - as per usual....
I decided to get myself some eucalypts that I didn't already have, (there are literally dozens of euc. varieties there - I'm like kid in a candy shop) and that, as seedlings, looked slightly similar in some ways.
I know that these are not likely to be species that would necessarily be found close to each other naturally, but I wanted to just try something new and strange and fun. If anything its an experiment, really, and so why not enter it into this competition while I'm at it!?
Once again, as stated in my other entry (Olive Grove), I havent ever made a group/forest before, so don't expect anything flash out of me, because I'm not. Hey, I'm just happy to be here!
Anyway, without further ado (ado? aju? adu? adew?), I present what looks like a police lineup of eucalyptus :
face the front

now please all turn to your right

they are as follows:
- Eucalyptus Leptophylla
- Eucalyptus Socialis (Red Mallee)
- Eucalyptus Gracilis (Yorrell) (two of these, because I really liked the look of them for some reason

- Eucalyptus Salmonophloia (Salmon Gum)
So, I'll get them trimmed up and planted together over the next day or so and check back in with an update.
Cheers,
Juan
