New to the hobby

Hi all,
Not sure which sub forum to post to so if it’s the wrong one please make it. Anyways, always interested in bonsai but never got really interested until I realized that I spend more time at home than anywhere so why not start the hobby now.
I got into contact with a few fellow bonsai enthusiasts and purchased a number of prebonsais of them. Tell me what you think. I’d likely seek advice in the not too distant future in terms of styling, pruning etc

Hi Nozila and welcome, you certainly don't do things by half measures. Some good stuff there, nice mix should have some fun with those.

Welcome. You have a good eye to pick a trunk with potential, well done. I particularly like the Cydonia (?) and the very scarred juniper trunk. You might find it useful, if you're just starting out, to join your local club, so folk can walk you through the basics of wiring, pruning, shaping and general artistic mayhem. Also, if you put your location in your profile, the advice you get can be a bit more focused.

Thanks all. I tried to pick a mix of varieties, supposively the elm and junipers just need to be maintained - we’ll see if that’s the case. Would love some more natives but see how things go. Thanks for advice on location as well - I’m for South Aus. Adelaide to be exact. I can’t seem to add that to my profile so I just add it here.
