Bonsai by the Harbour
BBTH will be on again this year at the Shore boatshed in Wharf road, Gladesville on the June long weekend. One demonstrator from Melbourne, one from Canberra and a local. In these Covid time the format will be a bit different and I hope the weather clears up in June. So demonstrations on the Saturday June 11 and workshops on the Sunday.

Hey,
Where can I find more info on this event?
I googled it but could only find things from previous years. I would love to attend.
Cheers

Re: Bonsai by the Harbour
Scott Martin will be demonstrating on the Saturday with Sam Thompson from Canberra both at the same time and Andrew Edge will make a shorter appearance with John Batty. One session will be for critiques by these three people and we would like participants to bring along trees for comment. There will not be an evening session on the Saturday but there will be workshops available with Scott Martin and Sam on the Sunday. Brochure to come out soon for this event on the June long weekend.

Re: Bonsai by the Harbour
There will be a mobile coffee cart to greet you on arrival, free if you have paid up. The demonstrators will be working on a mixture of exotics and natives on the Saturday and then you will need to book in early for the workshops on the Sunday, good value at only $40 per 3 hour session. There are some brochures at Ray Nesci’s and there will be more available at the Illawarra show at the end of the month. I forgot to say that there will be a silent auction as well on the Saturday.

As someone who won't be able to get to Ray's or the Illawarra show due to work commitments is there anywhere online that more information can be found?

Yeah, come on guys. Put the brochure online.
I have always been an enthistic supporter of this event and hope it continues well into the future now that Covid restrictions are lessening.

Re: Bonsai by the Harbour
I’m hoping the brochure will be up tomorrow and yes Grant you have been a demonstrator on a number of occasions right from the very first time that it was held at this venue. No overseas experts this year just all local talent.

Re: Bonsai by the Harbour
There will be the usual opportunity to trade at this event but not dispose of a whole collection via the silent auction. Old black pines, Japanese pots, quality display tables and other bonsai paraphernalia have all found new owners here. You have to listen out for the closing time for last bids.

Maybe you need to open it on a laptop or computer, not just a phone. Send me a message if you still can’t open it.
