Your bonsai is a conifer of some sort. They can sometimes be difficult to tell apart but I'm pretty confident it is one of the Juniper species.
I note that the picture appears to be indoors or maybe an enclosed patio? Junipers do not live long indoors. They need sun, wind and fresh air to thrive.
