sumo fig

Post by strawbs »

there has been alot of talk recently about trunk chops and sumo figs.
i was lucky enough to grab one of dave54's that he was selling.
most of the trunk work had already been done and now it was just the branching to be sorted.
this is how i got it ( sorry dave pinched your original foto)
fig 3.JPG

2day before a hair cut.

after a hair cut

after reducing the top and wiring the back branch down.

the bottom two branches need a bit more thickening then will be chopped back.

cheers

nice work strawbs,

the hard work has been done and the fun part has been started, it looks like ya getting a good branch placement there :D and i am liking the top where you are starting to make movement in the apex, this will work well with the overall appearance of the tree.

once again i am envious of you aswell if i was on when these were for sale i would of snatched one or two of these up myself :D

good work :D

look forward to seeing more :D
