QLD small leaf ficus

Post by Jamie »

hey guys :D

before our dig yesterday shannon took us around to see some of his dads figs and mate, i was dumb founded to say the least, i could of spent nearly my entire savings but had to hold back

here are the two i got, one will make a sweet little twin trunk and the other i am thinking either banyan or sumo, not sure yet i will decide eventually ;) :? :D

they are great little trees, stand no more than 6 inches tall, one is about 5-6 inches across the base, and the other would be about 3 inches, the twin is the smaller :D

let me know what ya think, i have a couple of ideas which i will virt up, and a couple of sketches but will see what your thoughts are first :D

Hey Jamie
nice trees you got there, I think that the little twin trunk one you got could by quite a nice twin trunk banyon style and the other a kind of sumo style I think.
I like the looks of them alot, kinda want some for myself :D

you know what mate, after looking at them today i was thinking something along the same lines, go sumo with the bigger one and banyan with the twin trunk, even though i was orignally thinking the twin would be good for twin trunk i am not so sure and thinking banyan myself, and i think i have also found a sweet line for the bigger one for a sumo.

will put a virt up of both soon but still mant some more opinions :D great minds think alike though pal :D

would like shannons input on these two aswell as he is the reason i scored them :D cheers pal, i think i will have to get back down soon and get some more :D

maybe if ya not to hung over tomorrow and i have enough space in the car..... :P :D :) :D

(still i am serious bout that  )
