[WANTED] Beginners Toolkit
I am in the market for a basic beginners toolkit. What should I get, how much should I pay (I would prefer to buy better quality once than poor quality and have to keep replacing). Any one in the nursery industry with tools to sell, I would love to hear from you.

Re: Wanted: Beginners Toolkit
Hello Gneaton,
I can supply you with any quality you would like. I have cheap chinese (crappy) tools from $10 right up to Masakuni brand custom made tools at around $2000 a piece!
Dont fear - I can also get some brilliant tools that are priced in between.
Just PM me with how much you would like to spend and what tools you would like in your set.
Cheers,
Leigh.

LOL Ron! I know that one, having a son who is a fingerstyle guitarist who has a Gibson, Eric Clapton signature Fender, two Maton accoustics and a George Golla Maton jazz guitar, two amps and all the other paraphenalia, plus my husband and I have a Maton each also.
Now I am aquiring Bonsai paraphenalia instead.

Re: Wanted: Beginners Toolkit
I still have my original tools also. I bought my first branch cutter from Bob Asquith Bonsai Nursery in Perth. Today I just took shipment of my stainless Masakuni set, I decided after a successful Christmas trade to spoil myself. I can say, after many years experiencing pretty much all grades and qualities in tools from China and Japan, and even some Korean ones, that nothing....absolutely nothing feels better than Masakuni. You cant beat hand made Japanese craftmanship - brilliant.
Cheers,
Leigh.
PS: Espresso - My Dad would have jumped at that if he was till alive! I know my uncle would definately appreciate it - I will let him know!

Re: Wanted: Beginners Toolkit
WOW!! A whole set at $2000 a piece, or is that just for custom made jobs?
As for the amp for sale, that might be of interest to my son..... Better not tell him or I might not be able to afford the tools! He is a med student and still relies on parents for such things.....
