HI Guys
I love PJ Figs & the arial roots that they shoot out so here is a little tip i use to help them reach the ground before the sun fries them.
If you have nice heatly arial root and you want to move it, drill a hole where you would like it to go & then feed the root through & in time it will graft into position.
By the way i remove the straws once the root has hit the soil using a sharp craft knife.
Cheers
Chris
