Lavender Mame

Post by alpineart »

This one was dug from the nature strip , trimmed continually by the ride on mower . Something different from what i usually do , "wiring" now who suggested that ,its rough but effective .This is one of the Purple varieties that i have growing here , originally growing wild on the roadside at Yackadanda/Tangambalanga in N.E Victoria .

When i collected a couple of plants 10 years ago they had a stench about them which was very unpleasant .. i have only notice the rather faint pleasant aroma this morning obviously with care or possibly cross pollinated with some of the others i have here may have contributed to the change in the scent

Hi Alpine,

I was not calling you a beginner at all! I was just making a joke out of the lawn mower. I admire you skills greatly. As for losing the cutters...... Im young and i lose them frequently as well  Wish i could call them like i do when i lose my mobile

lavander can make great bonsai, the trunks can be similar to old conifers with deadwood, and the foliage can be rather tight :D

Just doing a seach on Lavender and came upon this thread. Joel, the answer to your problem is simple. Just strap a mobile to each tool. You will have a seperate number for each one, and if you set them to vibrate, it may just bring the tool across the table to you!

Cheers
