hi, this was hiding behind some bigger natives at bunnings and the dude there didn't know what it was. he said it was dead which as why there was no tag or price. after examining the roots and noticing one, yes one white tipped root. i thought maybe it will live and there weren't any more around and he gave it to me. i think its a casuarina cunninghamiana. it now (7 days later) has several white tipped roots and looks greener.
any suggestions on how to increase its survival rate would be sweet . after reading some threads, soaking it in seasol might be a good start. Yes? No? Or even telling me, "its dead, your an idiot", would be a huge help. thanks, and i love this site (ausbonsai).
