[ID] Cedar I.D please

Can anyone positively I.D this particular Cedar .Colour of the foliage in Winter is yellow /light green , in Summer it is bright light green .

The bark is in stips ,soft paper like similar to some Malelueca's .Cheers Alpine

I guess you mean cypress or chamaecyparis, not cedar.

Yes it could be , a Thuju , Chamae or Cypress.It could be a Red cedar , Yellow / Alaskan cedar or numerous others ..Cheers

Hi LLK , it has the attributes of the Yellow / Alaskin Cedar , however it has a very pleasant smell . Cheers

If your tree smells nice, it could also belong to the cypress group. See for ex. http://en.academic.ru/dic.nsf/enwiki/215715
I must say that I find all those trees with scaly foliage very hard to keep apart. They can be junipers, Chamaecyparis, Cypress, Cupressocyparis, Thuja and heaven knows what else. I wish you good luck!
