NEW GYMPIE QLD BONSAI GROUP

Post by senseijames »

Hello peoples, if there is anybody who is into BONSAI or just interested, who resides in the SE QLD REGION of Gympie, Cooloola, Wide Bay, South Burnett areas, then I wish to tell you about a NEW Bonsai Group ( we are not calling it a club ) called KINNOTO BONSAI GROUP, KIN-NO-TO means Gold City in Japanese ( Gympie being the city of gold ) nat....we have our next gathering ( our second only so far ) on Saturday 29th May at Golden City Brick and Landscape, 114 Noosa Road, Gympie, Qld 4570 any one who is doing Bonsai or is interested in Bonsai ( beginners, learning or an enthusiast ) all are welcome to come along, if you have a favorite Bonsai that you would like to bring along to display, please feel free to do so without any fear of criticism , we are a self help group and a social group we do not wish to become an official club or be affiliated with any other ( at this stage )
The new owner of Golden City Brick and Landscape, 114 Noosa Road, Gympie, Phil Sparks, has kindly offered for us to use their nursery facility for our meetings, and will provide a cuppa on the day, ( Thanks Phil and staff ). He has also put into his stock a range of Bonsai Supplies " Pots-tools-plants-accessories " for the group to purchase and also the general public, the range of Bonsai Supplies will increase with demand, as people get to know that they can get there Bonsai Needs Locally. The day is like an open day as such, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, so feel free to drop in, I would also like to add that if you do Bonsai and you don't necessarily follow the Traditional Rules for Bonsai HAVE NO FEAR we each do our own thing. If you require more information check out the website http://www.kinnotobonsaigroup.blogspot.com. HOPE TO SEE YOU ON THE DAY.
CHEERS
