Excellent work Gabriel, I especially like the way you have changed the planting angle and given the trunk that nice bend.
Do you think Antonio wants it back?

I really like what you've done, from an ordinary stock plant to this - it's looking terrific. Can't wait to see what you come up with for your 4 others

Re: Juniper semicascade first tyling
You have been doing bonsai for TWO years???? WOW, most impressed. You have done a great job.
I have been told by Dorothy Koreshoff that it is easier to style cascades and semi cascades when they are in an actual bonsai pot. The reason is apparent in your photo where the foliage does not really have the room to clear the pot. It won't hurt the tree but when you are styling a tree that will be growing close to the pot rim or the pot it is easier to work with the tree in pot similar in size to the eventual pot.

What a ripper.
Is that an old tyre you have wrapped it in?
Is the bend just being held by the guy wires ?

Re: Juniper semicascade first tyling
I wouldn't have thought it could be a nice cascade from this stock. But it is now. Very nice!
Always we hope someone else has the answer.
