Seed pods

Post by Handy Mick »

Can anyone shed some light on the best ways to collect the seeds from the pods of some of the most popular trees, such as: Malaleuca, Callistemon, Allocasuarina and Liquid Amber's. as well as others that you can think of. Furthermore could you add the best methods you have struck new seedlings and time of year/state completed in.
Thanks
Mick

Place the Pod into a Paper bag and put somehwere warm and dry
the pods should open and the seeds fall out

Works with Liquid amber and should for the others too
