Is it my imagination or is that island sitting on a concrete pad? Its pretty awesome no matter what, would also love to know where it is.

Very nice!
Id say its not on concrete but its just the way the rock has eroded!
I cant help but wonder though , how long it will be untill it topples over?

This one is quite popular. It's located in Huron, Michigan state of America. It's one of the smallest island in shallow water close to shore. And davo, scientists predicted that it would take a few more hundreds years to erode to a point that it may topple over. The proccess is a natural progression and unpreventable. There are quite a lot of similar to these islands/rocks in Ha long Bay of Vietnam however, Ha long Bay has tropical trees like figs rather than conifers.
