Old Radiata

This is a very old Radiata pine that i restyled with Hiro last week,approx 1mt in high it has had four major bends and several branches removed,i will now let the tree rest for 12 months (may slip pot it in Spring)

Hi Psymo, Iam very happy with the tree, i picked it up on the way to the workshop with Hiro i couldnt pass it up

Great tree John! I guess no before workshop shots?

If I may be so bold, how much does one pay for such an incredible tree, of that age? Feel free not to answer that. :)

Hi mitchel, The tree came from an older club member that wanted the tree to be past on and developed. If you can find trees of this age you would expect to pay in excess of $2000 if you are not a member of a club.Another good reason to join a bonsai club as as a lot of members want to see the trees that thy have put many years of work into are carried on for years to come.John m
