Heya folks,
My girlfriend just asked me a question and I haddnt a clue on the answer, I was wondering what type of cherry would produce the seed that leeds to a pink blossum?
We are thinking about growing a tree from seed (really enjoy seeing the whole picture) and were wondering where to being.
Cheers,
Isty.

Re: Cherrys from seed question
I have a "Prunus Okame" = Japanese Flowering Cherry, I purchased form Ray Nesci Bonsai nursery as a Starter Tree last year for an experiment
His starters are $3.50 and are almost like growing from seed
but at least you don't have to wait
Mine are in flower now, so if you can get to nursery you shodu see some to pick the right ones
Ken
Edit, PS forgot to add I woud have no idea where to get seeds from, Ray grows all his from Cuttings
