Have you been able to get the leaves to reduce?
I have an old one, different variety and cant defoliate more than a few leaves per branch, and when they come back they remain the same size.

these trees do not belong to me. they were on show at last nights club meeting.

Love the movement and the pot - the whole bonsai is really nice. I have been looking for fuschia but have never found a possible starter and basically my yard is too sun baked for most fuschias. This really is the first fuschia bonsai I have seen and it is most impressive.
